Frequently asked questions

Why not just email my documents?

Email is not encrypted end to end, and tax documents contain Social Security numbers and account details. The secure organizer encrypts files in transit and at rest and keeps everything in one place for your preparer.

I am an existing client. Where do I upload?

Sign in to the secure document vault. Your organizer and any requests from your preparer are waiting there.

I am new to the firm. How do I start?

Contact the firm to discuss your situation and next steps. Please do not email tax documents or sensitive information unless the team has directed you to a secure method.

Do I have to have everything before I start?

No. Upload what you have and add the rest as it arrives. Most brokerage 1099s and K-1s arrive in late February or March.
